SAP ECC / R3 - Salesforce Integration

Sync customer and prospect master data, automate sales order processing, sync accounting and controlling, and much more. Integrate SAP with Salesforce with elastic.io

Integrate sap with salesforce

Syncing data shouldn't be hard or complicated

SAP ECC / R3
Java Connector 3.0.19 SDK
SALESFORCE
API Version 46.0

TRIGGERS
When this happens:

Generic / real-time:

  • Receive RFC calls from the SAP ECC/R3 platform.
  • RFC Server provides an opportunity to expose any function, which exists on the remote SAP RFC repository, in a synchronous fashion.
  • For example, you can use this connector to:
    • Trigger an incoming IDoc request
    • Query BAPI-enabled function modules by module name
    • Query RFM-enabled function modules by module name
    • Discover BAPI using a wildcard expression containing a full or partial object name

See SAP triggers documentation

Fundamental:

  • A custom or built-in object in Salesforce is created (e.g. Account, Contact, Lead, Contract, Product)
  • A custom or built-in object was updated in Salesforce

Advanced:

  • An SOQL query returned a result:
    • For example: Check the account and contact associated with a recently updated opportunity or Set the currency to the corporate currency when a new opportunity is created
  • Receive Salesforce platform events as notification such as “a new order placement” or “order was shipped” upon their creation

See Salesforce triggers documentation

ACTIONS
Do this:

Generic:

  • Call an RFC function on the SAP ECC platform.
  • This connector includes calling standard functions such as STFC_CONNECTION or RFC_SYSTEM_INFO, as well as calling BAPI function modules.
  • Specifically, you can use this connector to:
    • Validate, create transactions and / or read information from the platform in real time
    • Initiate SAP processes (e.g. order management, alerts for invoices due for payment. etc)
    • Generate and / or manipulate SAP data (e.g. create or update orders, sync account - customer with Salesforce, etc.)

See SAP actions documentation

Fundamental:

  • Create a new object in Salesforce (e.g. Account, Lead, Contact, Opportunity)
  • Create or update a selected object in Salesforce
  • Delete an object in Salesforce by a selected field (e.g. Account ID or Contract ID)
  • Lookup a list of objects that satisfy specific criteria
  • Lookup an object available in Salesforce by a selected field (e.g. Account ID or Contract ID)

Advanced:

  • Filter your organization’s data for specific information using SOQL
  • Quickly load large amounts of data from CSV file into Salesforce - bulk create / update / delete / upsert action
  • Fetch records to a CSV file - bulk query action

See Salesforce actions documentation
